So, if you are facing a similar problem as stated above, follow this tutorial and effectively use your hard drive space on this page. I pretty much gave up on the data as I would re-clone the HDD after fixing the SSD. from Reddit Tried EASUS and Mini partition wizard to fix using the same method and re-sizing, extend/shrink partition but it was no different than using diskpart of disk management.Įdit: I also formatted the SSD, which still shows the wrong size. Another thing I noted is that the SSD shows the label in properties as if it was the HDD (which is 1 TB, so it is messed up it shows 465 GB) The SSD is a SATA Teamgroup the HDD was a WD. Disk Manager only shows the disk as 465 GB and no extra unallocated space. I tried using diskpart to shrink/expand the partition but can't get past the 465 GB. The boot was not working, so I re-did the boot and Windows partitions with Clonezilla.Īlong the way, I got distracted or misclicked during the setup, I ended up with 2 partitions, with only 465 GB out of the total 2 TB. I had cloned an SSD with about 5 partitions from another HDD.
